Better Health Medical Associates (BHMA) is a home visiting practice and telemedicine service with qualified licensed medical personnel geared towards providing quality affordable primary care and minor urgent care services within The Bahamas. We know that life happens everywhere and medical needs can occur at anytime, we seek to bridge the gap between accessing care, convenience and affordability. At BHMA we provide you with top class services in the comfort of your home, office and even on the go.
Better Health Medical Associates home visiting services started as a concept in 2020 due to the pandemic, born out of the need for access to health care, the privacy it afforded, convenience and cost effectiveness. In August 2021, this concept blossomed into real world applications, organization and a successful practice that is mobile today. Since then, we continue to be requested by patients, family and friends who had grown accustomed to the accessibility especially during a time when many were not able to be mobile. Then in August 2022 BHMA was officially launched full time.
At BHMA we offer superior care while working around your schedule, addressing all of your concerns and needs. We take pride in providing convenience through flexible scheduling, reduction in wait times and the dynamic care team management approach with continuity of care in conjunction with referral services and liaising with the community center of your choice.
OUR PRIMARY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Reonda Evans-Pinder is a St. Anne’s High School graduate who went on to complete a Bachelors of Science degree from the College of the Bahamas (now University of The Bahamas). She earned her Bachelors of Science in Medicine at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, before transferring to the Clinical Research Campus in New Providence. There she completed a Bachelor’s in Basic Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) followed by one year internship with rotations ……
