Dr. Evans-Pinder has served publicly in various local community clinics and home visiting under the Public Hospitals Authority and the Department of Public for over 6 years as a senior medical officer. She has served throughout The Bahamas for short intervals providing relief on several family islands (often as the only physician on the island). Additionally, she served the Ministry of National Security in conjunction with the Ministry of Health 2 years as the physician responsible for Trafficking in Persons. Since then she has transitioned into the private sector practice where she continues to work in office at an established boutique family practice, mobile in home visiting and telemedicine services, and as a physician provider for national health insurance (NHI).
Dr. Evans-Pinder takes pride as a home visiting physician and understands the core value of time management and good quality health care to all members of the family. She is an advocate for accessible, affordable and reliable services. She has special interests in point of care ultrasound and foreign languages in which she hopes to encompass into her home visiting services in the near future.
She is the wife of Richard Pinder and mother of 3 children Rebecca, Asaiah and Riane Pinder. She is committed to community service and worship in her local community.
